NEENAH — Neenah Police took two men into custody Sunday morning following a report of shots fired.

According to a news release, officers responded to the 900 block of Harrison Street just after 6:00 a.m. Neenah Police Department said it received a report of multiple gunshots in the area, with broken glass on the roadway.

Police said an investigation led them to a particular residence where they took two men into custody. The police department is referring charges to the district attorney’s office for both men.

The gunshots were not fired at any people, police said, and this was not an act of violence against anyone. Police also said the broken glass found on scene was likely not related to the shooting.

"There is no concern for public safety regarding this incident," Neenah Police stated in the news release.
