The Neenah Animal Shelter is asking for donations to help cover the medical costs of a cat with broken legs.
Hermie was brought in by a good Samaritan who found her laying next to a garbage can.
She was likely struck by a car because both left legs were severely injured.
Hermie's rear left femur was broken into 5 pieces.
She had surgery at the Animal Referral Center Fox Valley on February 21st and is expected to make a great recovery.
The cat will spend the next eight weeks in foster care learning to reuse her limbs.
