(NBC 26) - He bleeds green and gold. NBC26’s Chief Meteorologist Cameron Moreland started a collection in 1995 when he and his family moved to Wisconsin. It’s now become one that he believes no one else can beat.

“I think right now, although it’s not official, I think I have the record for most Packers ties owned by one person anywhere in the world,” Cameron said.

Cameron now owns 40 ties. He tries to add 2-3 ties every year. Over the years, Cameron has sported his Packers tie love during weather road shows and game day forecasts. However, there is one problem with wearing your favorite green and gold ties while doing the weather on a green screen. When working in front of a green screen, the technology will turn most green items invisible!

“The Packers ties are all green and gold, and the weather wall, the chroma key is green. So that sometimes causes some problems with my Packers ties. You can see cold fronts and clouds and little suns where the green is.”

One of Cameron’s biggest thrills about being a part of the official Packers station is getting to forecast from Lambeau Field before every single home game. It’s also getting to share his love for the team with his family.

“One of the biggest thrills I’ve had was being able to watch Aaron Rodgers throw a football to my son,” he said. “I love that my whole family has become huge Packers fans.”

Cameron tried out the famous Lambeau Leap a few years ago and says he’ll leave that up to Devonte Adams or Aaron Rodgers, his favorite player; and he said he’ll stick to weather.

Packers' fans are not hoping for a tie for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. Cameron is predicting a 35-21 Packers win.
