DE PERE — Nardi’s Affogato Bar in De Pere says they will no longer have plastic straws at their establishment.
The owner, Vince Nardi, says it's part of a "larger environmental picture."
In a news release, the establishment cited being a part of the Zero-Waste Café Movement.
"Many customers have already embraced the changes that we have implemented in the Zero-Waste Café Movement," says Nardi’s Affogato Bar. "From our reusable travel cups and mason jars to just a simple reusable metal straw."
Nardi’s Affogato Bar said they learned about the Zero-Waste Café Movement this past year and attended a seminar in Indianapolis to learn how to make the cafe more eco-friendly.
