GREEN BAY — The Bellin Run and Paul McCartney concert will make for a busy weekend in Green Bay.

Organizers at Astor Park are getting ready for the big run Saturday morning. They are even kicking off race weekend with a run Thursday night with world class athletes.

Legendary Beatle Paul McCartney’s concert will be a great reward for some after running the race, with parking lots opening at 4 p.m. Saturday before doors open at 6 p.m. Organizers at Lambeau Field have been busy at work getting ready for McCartney’s 3 hour show, while race directors have been busy setting up for the 10-K.

"We hope people can really make a day of it,” says Assistant Race Director Linda Maxwell. “They come and do the Bellin Run in the morning they go home relax and before the concert."

It will be like going from a run to a Packer's tailgate, only this time, the big game isn't the Packers, it's Paul McCartney.
