UPDATE: The motorcyclist who passed away as a result from the crash was identified as 48-year-old Jeremey Burgard from Random Lake, according to the Cascade Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
ORIGINAL REPORTING: A motorcyclist died Thursday evening after a crash on County Highway W in the Town of Lyndon.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the rider crossed the center line and hit an eastbound pickup truck.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, and the pickup driver was not hurt.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, but more information is expected later today.
