WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — The state health department reported a large spike in the percentage of cases testing positive Sunday. Reports show out of 7,735 tests done, 20.5% were positive. This is a jump of nearly 9% from Saturday.
This means there were 1,582 new cases reported. The state's total cases are now at 89,185.
New numbers also show more than 10,000 active cases around Wisconsin. Nearly 78,000 have recovered.
One new death puts the state's total at 1,210; this total accounts for 1.4% of total cases. To learn more, visit the DHS website.
