Menominee Nation Arena owner working through bankruptcy

OSHKOSH — The owner of Menominee Nation Arena provided an update on its court proceedings after filing for bankruptcy on Monday.

Fox Valley Pro Basketball, Inc. said it filed for protection under Chapter 11 to restructure its debts. The company said in a news release that it continues to operate under court protection.

The company said Friday that Windward Wealth Strategies, Inc., who has a controlling interest in Fox Valley Pro Basketball, has agreed to lend up to $200,000 for the company to meet its cash flow needs during the Chapter 11 proceedings. The company said Bankruptcy Court approved the lending proposal at a hearing on Friday, Aug. 23.

Menominee Nation Arena is home to the Wisconsin Herd, Wisconsin GLO and Fox Valley Roller Derby teams.
