MENASHA (NBC 26) -- The Menasha Pool will open Saturday, June 20, but with some restrictions in place due to coronavirus.

Programs such as the Dive-in Movie, City Carnival, and Bubble Run will be canceled due to large crowd sizes that make it difficult to socially distance. CommunityFest Fireworks will also be canceled.

The city says programs like Soccer, Baseball, Pickleball, Tennis, and Dance will be offered in a modified fashion.

The Menasha Pool will open on Saturday, June 20, with swimming lessons, lap swim and open swim being modified. The capacity of the pool will be limited to allow for physical distancing, with preference given to City of Menasha residents.

"The most significant change for summer recreation is the implementation of a Summer Camp program at Jefferson Park. This program consolidates former summer programs like Tot Lot and Playground Plus. This exciting new offering will have both a ½ day and full day options," the city says in a statement.
