MANITOWOC (NBC 26) -- Manitowoc Police say they arrested a 40-year-old following a homicide investigation.
Manitowoc Police took Craig W. Holtz into custody. Holtz was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail where he was held on one count of First Degree Intentional Homicide, as well as a Probation Hold.
According to police, officers went around 8:30pm Thursday to the 1000 block of Marshall Street for a report of a man being stabbed. Police say they found a 32-year-old Manitowoc man collapsed outside a residence. Authorities rushed him to a local hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the the alleged suspect Holtz fled to a north side residence where he showered and changed clothes before being dropped off at another north side residence. He was eventually taken into custody without further incident.
