MANITOWOC (NBC 26) -- A Manitowoc man is accused of leading law enforcement on a high speed chase.

The Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office said the chase happened Friday morning. It began when officers from Two Rivers Police tried to pull over 22-year-old Jacob Hetue, who had a felony arrest warrant from the Department of Corrections. Police stopped pursuing Hetue when he left Two Rivers.

About 10 minutes later, a Manitowoc County deputy spotted Hetue and tried to pull him over. According to the Sheriff's Office, Hetue drove off. The Sheriff's Office said the chase reached speeds of 95 mph.

The chase ended in Manitowoc, near the intersection of North 8th Street and Waldo Boulevard when a deputy used a PIT maneuver on Hetue's car. The car spun out and temporarily stopped. The Sheriff's Office said Hetue tried to drive off again, so a second deputy pinned the car.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Hetue refused to get out of the car. Authorities said they used a Manitowoc County K-9 while apprehending Hetue.

Hetue was arrested on charges of fleeing, operating while intoxicated, operating with a revoked driver's license, resisting arrest and the DOC warrant.
