MARINETTE COUNTY (NBC 26) -- A man wanted for drug charges in Minnesota was arrested in Marinette County following a chase, the Marinette County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies were notified Monday night that Forest County was pursuing a stolen pickup truck. The truck was reported stolen from Tomahawk in Oneida County.

Forest County Sheriff squads chased after the truck into Marinette County. The truck eventually stopped in the Town of Niagara near U.S. Highway 8 East.

The Marinette County Sheriff's Office said when officers ordered him out of the truck, the suspect was uncooperative at first. Eventually, he was taken into custody without incident.

The Sheriffs' Office identified the suspect as 37-year-old Dieter Sobtebier of Minnesota. He's wanted in Minnesota on warrants for narcotic charges and his driving status was revoked. He was relayed back to Oneida County, where the truck was stolen.
