SEYMOUR, Wis. — There is a new update in the case of a man and two girls found dead in a Seymour home earlier this month.

Court documents say the girls' mother told police that her partner, 35-year-old Andrew Poppe, recently threatened to kill her and her children.

Police at the time were worried that Poppe might have a bow and arrow. After going into the house, authorities found the bodies of Poppe and two young girls.

Court paperwork says all three had what looked like stab wounds. The girls were 4-year-old Matteline Samson and 3-month-old Hailey Poppe.

The scene was a home along the 600 block of North Main Street in Seymour. The state is investigating and hasn't released any more information, including who they believe killed Poppe and the two girls.
