BROWN COUNTY, Wis. — A man is sentenced to decades in prison in connection with a 2016 homicide case in Brown County.

Suzette Langlois was found shot in the driveway of a Bellevue home in August of 2016 and later died, authorities said.

Anthony Kitchenakow , 47, was sentenced to 40 years in prison. He submitted an Alford Plea, not admitting guilt but said there was enough evidence against him to convict.

Authorities say the motive in the case was a drug debt owed by Langlois' boyfriend.

At his sentencing in court, Kitchenakow apologized to the victim's family, his own family, and the court system.
