FOND DU LAC, Wis — Fond du Lac Police arrested of Mohamed G. Elmhdati in connection with Tuesday's shooting incident at Division Street and Lincoln Avenue. Elmhdati was taken into custody Wednesday around 6:45 p.m. by the Fond du Lac Police Department SWAT team at an address in the 100-block of North Sophia Street.
Elmhdati is being held in the Fond du Lac County on preliminary charges of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Armed Robbery.
The investigation into the shooting incident remains active and additional information will be released with a criminal complaint.
