WAUSAU (NBC 26) — Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting on the city's west side that left one man critically injured.
Officers responded around 5:40 p.m. to the 400 block of Lacy Creek Way and found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Detectives say the investigation is active, there's no indication of an ongoing threat, and no further details are being released at this time.
