OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — A 29-year-old man was hospitalized Tuesday night after being shot, police said. A suspect is in custody.
Oshkosh Police said Wednesday a shooting occurred in the 900 block of Greenwood Court in Oshkosh on Tuesday evening. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The 29-year-old victim is currently in critical condition. No one else was injured during this incident.
The suspect has been identified as a 45-year-old man from Oshkosh, who was taken into custody Tuesday night for attempted first degree intentional homicide. Police said the victim and suspect have mutual acquaintances.
