OCONTO COUNTY (NBC 26) — A 25-year-old man from Shawano has been arrested on a charge of sexually assaulting a child, the Oconto County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The sheriff's office said it received a call February 10 regarding a sexual assault of a child incident that occurred in the town of Oconto Falls.
On March 23, the sheriff's office said Travis M. Welch, 25 of Shawano, was found and arrested. The sheriff's office said he was booked into the Oconto County Jail on the charge of repeated sexual assault of the same child.
The sheriff's office didn't release any other information, only to say the office is investigating.
