OUTAGAMIE COUNTY (NBC 26) -- An Appleton man who was charged with posing as a doctor has now reached a plea deal.
It's been just over a year since Kyle Larsen was charged with 18 counts, including theft, practicing medicine without a license and delivering prescription drugs. On Thursday, Larsen entered no contest pleas to 13 of those charges. The other charges were dismissed.
Prosecutors had previously accused Larsen of giving patients medication without a prescription and running a medical practice under a fake name.
The court has ordered a pre-sentence investigation. A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled and it's not clear what kind of legal consequences Larsen will face.
