ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) -- Local schools say one person at Ashwaubenon High School, Bay Port High School and Parkview Middle have tested positive for coronavirus.
We do not know if these people are students.
In a letter sent to families, Ashwaubenon School District says it’s working to identify who these people came in contact with. They say there is a low risk for exposure reaching the school. At Bay Port High School, administrators say they have identified who the person has come in contact with.
According to statewide numbers, of coronavirus patients younger than 20, about 1.4% have been hospitalized. No one under 20 years old has died of coronavirus in Wisconsin. Those are numbers since the pandemic began.
