DE PERE (NBC 26) -- Even though they had to close due to the state's mandate, a local salon is keeping customers connected by bringing beauty curbside.
Dame Salon Spa in De Pere hosted their first curbside product pickup with orders taken over the phone and products hand-delivered to your car.
Stylists answered questions over the phone to help shoppers pick the right shampoo or skin care product and also offered advice to clients through social media.
"I feel like right now connecting and communicating is everything," salon owner Maggie Dame said. "Whether it's having our doors open for sales, or connecting via social media giving beauty tips to our guests. Just staying connected and keeping that relationship strong so they know we're here when our doors do open."
Dame plans to do the curbside pickup from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Monday.
Dame Salon Spa is located on George St. in De Pere.
