NORTHEAST WISCONSIN (NBC 26) -- Several local police departments are closing their medication and drug drop boxes in their lobby due to coronavirus concerns.
The departments say it's to minimize the potential transfer of any virus to both people dropping off and employees at the station.
Closed drop off stations so far include Green Bay Police and Appleton Police Departments.
In addition, the Appleton Police Department is extending the requirement to renew City of Appleton animal licenses.
