GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — February is Black History Month, and one local organization is celebrating by promoting black businesses.
We All Rise is a local group that promotes a vibrant African American community here in Northeast Wisconsin. They are proud to promote so many incredible black-owned businesses.
“Instead of going to different stores in the area that are ran by millionaires, this is a store that is ran by somebody just like you. So when you come here and you support and you spend a little bit of money, it helps in a bigger way than you would think,” said Anthony Bennett, owner of Envy Fits And Fashion.
A full list of local black owned business will be posted on their website devoted to promoting African American owned businesses in the area.
