GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Local experts say addiction is a significant issue both nationally and locally.

Larry Conners, the Chief Executive Officer at the Jackie Nitschke Center in Green Bay said he sees addiction in all parts of society.

"It's critical that people have an opportunity to restore their lives, and we try to supply them with the tools and compassion, love, and support to help them build a new future for themselves," said Conners.

The center has programs for people struggling with addiction including a 30 day program where people stay overnight for treatment as well as non-residential help.

Conners encourages anyone struggling with addiction, whether alcohol or other drug addiction, to call the center at 920-435-2093 or visit their website here.
