NEENAH (NBC 26) -- Local nonprofit Jake's Diapers is partnering with the Community Resource Center Nashville to help with tornado relief efforts.

Two dozen people were killed and more than two hundred were hospitalized after tornadoes ripped through Nashville and surrounding areas last week.

Jake’s Diapers will help with relief efforts for Davidson, Wilson and Putnam counties; those hardest hit by last week’s tornadoes. According to a news release from Jake's Diapers, N&M Transfer Company, an expedited truckload carrier in Neenah, is collecting items and donating a trailer to haul the supplies. A trailer filled with supplies from this weekend’s collection along with Jake’s donations will travel to Tennessee on Monday.

N&M will continue collecting essential items Monday at Pick 'n Save located at 828 Fox Point Plaza in Neenah from 9 am to 5 pm. Requested items include personal hygiene items, baby items such as formula, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning products such as Lysol and Windex, and batteries.

Used items such as used clothing, used toys, or used books will not be accepted. Jake’s is also collecting items and asking for donations, which can be made online. To make a donation by check, send it to: Jake’s Diapers, 1775 Bohm Drive, Little Chute, WI 54140.
