ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — A local mother hosted Jenny's Memory Fundraiser Saturday in memory of her daughter who died while she was pregnant.
The event was held at Ashwaubenon High School
Demmith said in June 2017, her daughter Jenny was 7 months pregnant when she collapsed in the hallway.
She said doctors told her Jenny's heart had stopped. Both Jenny and the baby lost their lives.
Demmith said Jenny was a giving person, going on mission trips, helping out in school, church and the community.
Demmith collected items like diapers, wipes, blankets, and hygiene products.
Those donations will go to Heaven's Touch, an organization that helps mothers and babies in need.
