GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Goodwill Industries is once again helping kids in need who are returning to school with vouchers.

It's all part of their Good Neighbor Program. Students who receive the vouchers can use it a Goodwill center and get clothes, lunchboxes, socks, shoes or other items they may need for school.

"This is an annual thing that we do. It's really a way that we help give back and a way that we use the donations and the shopping that happens in our stores to help give back to people who may need or for their house, so this is just one of the small ways we enjoy giving back," said Jennie Moore, Vice President of Mission Services for Goodwill.

Last year, the program provided more than $630,000 worth of merchandise to people in need. All 26 locations in the Northeast Wisconsin region are participating.
