GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- One group of 3D printer hobbyists donated 150 protective shield masks to the Green Bay Police Department.

These notheastern Wisconsin hobbyists are working at home with their own 3D printer to make masks for first responders and hospitals in the area, Green Bay Police said.

"Thank you for the donation and all the time it takes to produce and coordinate these shields!" Green Bay police wrote in a Facebook post Friday.

If you are a 3D hobbyist printer or have access to an industrial size printer and want to get involved, you can join their private Facebook group at NE Wisocnsin 3D Protective Shields.
