Kobussen Busses held a hiring event to encourage veterans to apply for a job as a driver.
The bus company says they are in need of drivers either part time or full time. They say today was a good day to encourage those who served to apply for a job if they need one.
The company hopes to help veterans who were especially hard hit by the pandemic.
"Retired veterans, they have the ability, they have the time. They're sitting at home or doing something that they don't want to do or plain and simple, they want to get out of the house. That's what we're looking for," said Safety Manager Henrique Hilgenberg.
The variety of roles available include one day part time drivers to five day full time drivers.
