The Kenosha Common Council is scheduled to meet Friday evening to discuss "law enforcement plans for crime prevention" amid several nights of unrest.
Protests have happened every night since the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Aug. 23. Blake was shot 7 times by a Kenosha police officer.
While recent protests have remained peaceful, early unrest left several buildings heavily damaged.Two protesters were shot and killed by an Illinois teen on Tuesday.
The common council will discuss plans for "crime prevention in continuing protests that have led to deaths, personal injury and property damage," according to the council's agenda for Friday.
