KAUKAUNA, Wis. (NBC26) -- Kaukauna Police say they've had reports of a coyote approaching homes and walking through yards.

The reports came in around the 2100 block of Olde Country Circle.

Police say they've been in contact with the DNR for suggestions on how to handle the case.

The coyote appears to look normal but isn't acting normal. Folks in the neighborhood said it is not acting aggressive but when prodded wouldn't leave a porch.

Police say you should not approach the animal or try to feed it. They also suggest taking a quick look around the yard if you're letting pets outside in this area.

Kaukauna Police plan to look at the issue on Monday and discuss options.

If you see the animal, call 766-6333.
