GREEN BAY — The Packers welcomed the Houston Texans to Green Bay for a joint practice Monday.

The Texans players got to experience a tradition, special to many in Green Bay, by riding children's bikes to the practice field.

Many fans, especially the younger ones, were sporting the jersey of Wisconsin native, former Badger, and now defensive end for the Texans, J.J. Watt. The children were hoping he would pick them to ride their bike to practice.

A 5-year-old boy from Appleton got to walk alongside Watt as he rode his bike…until the seat broke off. Watt said they already bought the boy a new one.

The Texans will take on the Green Bay Packers this Thursday night in the team’s first preseason game of the year. Catch all the action for that game on NBC 26, your official Packers station.
