MENASHA (NBC 26) — Meet the new principal for Menasha High School, Adam Baier, who began his journey as an educator over 20 years ago.

“I’m starting my 22nd year as an educator in Wisconsin and it’s been a privilege to work with students for that long,” said Principal Baier.

Before working as an administrator, Baier worked as an educator in a Door County school district. Then 13 years ago, he began his journey as an administrator.

“I enjoyed seeking opportunities for students that extended their future goals and dreams,”

He is focused on building positive relationships with students and their families, as well as being a collaborative member of the team while advancing goals for student learning.

“I am here to support our kids and work collaboratively with them to make Menasha High School the best it can be,”

One of Principal Baier’s top priorities is to build positive relationships within the community, including the parents and the school board.

“One of the greatest resources we have in supporting our students is a good relationship with their parents. It’s really important that we form relationships that allow us to have communication. I think a school board is a microcosm of our community, and in a high school setting you need to have a great relationship with your community, they’re instrumental in supporting your goals for learning.”

He is also making it his priority to ensure that the students are at the center of every single decision, and he strives for a safe and effective academic setting for all students.

As the new school year approaches, Baier says he is ready and confident.
