DENMARK, Wis. (NBC 26) -- An 89-year-old war vet in Denmark received a very special surprise on his birthday.
The man's grandchildren organized the idea and had ice cream delivered from his favorite ice cream shop, Lickety Splits.
According to his granddaughter, the birthday boy is a Korean War Vet, and a member of the VFW, Lions Club, and the Parish board.
She said he's also pretty much the coolest grandpa you've ever met.
