OSHKOSH (NBC 26) -- Jake's Diapers, a nonprofit organization, is hosting a drive-thu distribution event to provide hygiene products to those in the community vulnerable to coronavirus.
The organization's goal at this time is to help at-risk elderly who may not have access to stores for essential supplies.
"Jake’s first step is to provide the most vulnerable population with hygiene supplies,” executive director Stephanie Bowers explained. “This will allow the elderly and those who are income-constrained to self-isolate and minimize the risk of contracting disease.”
The event is set to happen at the Oshkosh Senior Center North Building's parking lot on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Packages given to seniors will include personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies.
