GREEN BAY (NBC 26) - Hundreds of kids took over Lambeau Saturday as part of the NFL's Play 60 Campaign.
The program encourages kids to get out, be active and play for at least an hour a day. The day's activities, hosted by the Green Bay Packers, included obstacle courses, a rock climbing wall and a bounce house. It was free of charge and the Packers say it was a perfect opportunity to give back to the community.
"Just seeing them get really excited about physical activity and exercise, and maybe not even realizing what they are even doing is exercise is wonderful," said Amanda Wery with Packers Outreach.
Within two hours of opening the doors, the Packers saw more than 100 families.
