Howe Community Resources Center is hosting the Hand Up Clothing Drive.

The goal is to help struggling families meet basic clothing needs for kids and adults.

"Virtual or in person, every child remembers their first day of school and the outfit they wore. So, we really wanted to provide that opportunity even if it was on a smaller scale than previously. So, we were able to with Operation Community Cares as well as Jake's Diapers to secure that quantity of clothing,” said Amanda Johnson, Executive Director at Howe Resource Center.

There are no income restrictions for families who come in and pick out outfits. A $10,000 grant from the United Way helped fund the clothing.
