NEAR GREEN BAY, Wis. — Truckers are returning to the scene of a crash where they lost one of their own.

The drivers are hosting an honor run for Jesse Hettmann, who was hit and killed Friday on I-41 near Lombardi Avenue.

A big part of this honor run will be drivers from Glenn's Towing, where Jesse worked.

The president of Glenn’s Towing, Darrell Henninger, says it's been hard for them to process what happened especially with the kind of person Jesse was.

He describes Jesse as a person with a great dedication to his work and somebody beloved by co-workers, family, and friends.

"A super guy,” Darrell Henninger. “He started here March of 2016 as an employee, that lasted a couple of days then he became a co-worker. Not long after that he became a good friend."

Monday evening, Darrell and many others in the trucking community will be headed onto 41 to remember and honor Jesse, who leaves behind a wife and two young children.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the family.
