BROWN CO. (NBC 26) -- At this time all Brown County public and state parks, boat launches, and trails remain open. They say both physical and mental health are vital to take care of during this pandemic, but everyone must still practice social distancing.
Health officials in Brown Co. say the statewide Stay At Home order means people can exercise outside, but only with people from their same household.
This order means not meeting up with other family or friends to take a walk, go fishing, or simply catch up. If you are out and see other people or groups, you must maintain at least six feet between.
Officials say if the ban isn't followed, people can be cited or public outdoor areas could be closed.
Remember that except for people who live in the same home, gatherings of any size -- whether public or private -- are banned.
There are exceptions of course, like getting groceries or caring for someone.
