GREEN BAY — The Women's Empowerment Center is hoping to empower women and give them the tools towards success.

They offered free job readiness workshops Wednesday at the YWCA Greater Green Bay to develop job and life skills and gain relevant work experience in a positive environment.

“It's very important for women to put their best foot forward when they are going in for an interview for a job, and so we talk a little bit about tips, this to help you with your wardrobe and just some ideas for them to kind of get started,” says owner of Azure Shanna Zeitler.

The event also teamed up with the YWCA's Women's Career Closet to provide free, work-appropriate clothing to women in our area.
