GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) — Firefighters responded to a trash fire that was due to improperly disposed of ashes Saturday evening.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department said the fire happened on the 1400 block of Spence Street around 6:30 p.m.
First responders said the trash container was outside the home but spread to the interior structure. They said the fire was put out in about 15 minutes.
According to the Department, there were no injuries and nobody was displaced because of the fire.
