The Shamrock Club of Green Bay has canceled this year’s Green Bay St. Patrick's Day Parade that was scheduled for Saturday, March 14.
The club posted the following statement on social media:
"The Shamrock Club has made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade due to the growing concerns of the coronavirus and the state of emergency declaration.
The safety and health of our community is our first concern.
We want to thank all of our sponsors, participants, partners, and patrons for their support of this event and of our decision.
Until then, stay healthy and we’ll see you next year."
