GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- The Green Bay Area Public School District is offering parents and guardians an opportunity to enroll their children in off-site (remote) learning for the 2020-21 school year.

Superintendent Stephen Murley said the school district has been planning for an off-site model, recognizing that some children may not be able to return to school this fall due to medical conditions, or because families may feel returning to school may not be the best option for their child.

Families can enroll in the off-site (remote) learning option by visiting gbaps.org/gbapsforward. The deadline to enroll is Friday, August 7, 2020.

As circumstances may change, the school district said parents and guardians have the opportunity at the quarter/trimester to have their children return to in-person school.
