The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay will provide meals to local healthcare workers, police, and firefighters throughout the week of May 11-May 17.

Additionally, the Salvation Army says the initiative will help provide a boost to area businesses impacted by COVID-19 by purchasing sandwiches for the meals from local restaurants.

The Salvation Army canteen (mobile feeding truck) will be distributing lunch at several sites throughout greater Green Bay Tuesday through Friday. Salvation Army employees will assemble 200 meals each day for delivery. Meals will include a sandwich, chips, cookie, fruit cup and water.

Nicolet Restaurant, Not By Bread Alone, The Village Grille and Plank Road contributed to this effort.
