Green Bay police take stabbing suspect into custody

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Police said a stabbing happened Sunday around 1:30 a.m.

The Green Bay Police Department reported the incident happened at 629 Northern Ave on the west side of the city.

Officers identified the suspect as a 49-year-old Green Bay man. They said they were able to to locate the suspect and take him into custody.

According to the Department, the victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said this was not a random event and there is no danger to the public.
