GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Green Bay Police are searching for the owner of a cat found abandoned in a carrier.

Police said Friday a gray, white and orange domestic shorthaired adult female Calico cat was found April 7 abandoned in a pet carrier on a gravel driveway at Ken Euers Nature Area. The area is located at 1599 N. Military Avenue in Green Bay.

Police said the cat was severely matted and covered in urine.
