GREEN BAY, Wis. — Police are looking for a suspect in two robberies that happened Tuesday night.

The first occurred at the Dairy Queen on Main Street at approximately 7:20pm. The second robbery occurred several hours later at approximately 10:48pm at the Speedway gas station on E. Mason Street.

Police say in both robberies, a black man entered the stores with a handgun. He was wearing a blue puffy looking winter jacket and a gray over black Milwaukee Bucks stocking cap with a black ball or pom-pom on the top.

Police say the suspect was "remorseful", apologizing to the clerk while demanding money. Police say based on comments he made at the scene he appears to be going through an emotionally challenging time in his life. In the first robbery he identified himself to the clerk as “Shawn”. It has not been confirmed that his first name is actually Shawn.

Police say in the second robbery incident he was seen getting into a white or very light colored 4 door car that was described as “boxy looking”.
