Green Bay Police say bicyclist dies after hit and run crash

UPDATE: The bicyclist in this case has died from his injuries. Green Bay Police have identified the victim as as Jordan Krebsky, a 26-year-old Green Bay resident.

Police continue to investigate this case.

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Green Bay Police are searching for a car suspected of being involved in a hit and run crash that injured a bicyclist.

Police said the crash happened just before 5 a.m. on July 15 at the intersection of Bellevue St. and Amy St. on the east side of Green Bay.

According to police, a bicyclist that was traveling south on Bellevue St. was struck from behind by a southbound vehicle that fled the scene.

The operator of the bicycle was left severely injured, police said.

Police continue to search for the driver and have released photos of the suspected vehicle. Police said the suspect vehicle is expected to have sustained front end damage as a result of the crash.
