GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) — Green Bay police responded to 59 calls, arrested nine, and ejected 17 people from the Bears-Packers game at Lambeau Field on Sunday night.

Commander Kevin Warych estimates that those 59 calls are nearly triple that GBPD typically fields on any other home game day.

Those nine arrests alone are 40% of the season total 22 for the eight Packers home games so far in the 2021 season, including two preseason games.

Previously, the highest number of ejections this season was 11, seen at the Steelers game on October 3.

This season, the Packers have hosted two night games, both against NFC North opponents. Those two games alone averaged 8.5 arrests and 10.5 ejections, compared to 1.5 arrests and 5.83 ejections per game against all other opponents.
