GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The Green Bay Police Department is hoping to give community members an inside look at how officers do their jobs.
It's called 'Behind the Badge.' The department uploaded their first episode to Facebook Thursday.
"We're going to try to work and open up lines of communication with the community, so you understand a little bit more about what we're thinking when we do our job," said the officer in the video. "And we're also going to try to explain some of our expectations of what we're hoping to see when we interact with the public, to help keep communication open with you, so everybody has a positive and safe experience with police."
In their first episode, they talk about what to expect during traffic stops. You can watch the video below.
